Cassie is certified as a veterinary practice manager through the VHMA. She has worked around animals her entire life and enjoys helping people with their pets. She has dogs, cats, chickens, and reptiles! She enjoys fossil hunting, rockhounding, attending conventions, and gaming.

Technician Supervisor
Katja is a Licensed Veterinary Technician through Penn Foster. She is originally from Germany, and spends the summers with her children visiting the country. She enjoys outdoors, fossil hunting, and attending concerts.

Hillary is a Murray State College graduate that has been with us since 2022. Hillary has her hands full with 2 dogs, 1 cat, and LOTS of pigs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her new baby Channing and husband Cameron.

Laura is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians, earning her license through San Juan College. Laura has been involved with veterinary medicine since she was 15! She hopes to become a certified ultrasound technician in the future. In her free time, Laura enjoys being out on the farm with her family or relaxing with her dog Dally.

Alex Medina
Kennel Manager / Veterinary Assistant
Alex began with our team in 2019 as a Kennel Attendant and has since grown into his roles as a Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Manager. Outside of work, he runs a local party décor business, enjoys crafting, and works closely with Gainesville FFA by helping his sister with her show animals. At home, Alex loves spending time with his Aussie mix, Paisley. He is also bilingual!

Sydney joined our team in July 2025 as a Veterinary Assistant and plans to continue her education to become a licensed veterinary technician. Outside of work, Riley enjoys sewing, embroidery, painting, photography, hiking, and video games, and she cares for quite the pack of animals: three cats, three dogs, three donkeys, four guinea fowl, and a rabbit.

LaKeisha Wheeler
Veterinary Assistant
LaKeisha joined our team as a kennel attendant in 2021 and has since transitioned into her role as an assistant. She and her husband travel from Nebraska to Texas to work from fall to spring. They have a full house with 13 bird dogs and 2 cats! Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, road trips, hiking, camping, and live music.

She owns an Australian Shepherd named Bo and enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new things. Originally from Tennessee, Taylor recently moved to Texas and plans to continue her education in veterinary medicine.
